I offer Individual supervision for mental health counselors, marriage and family counselors, and social workers that are working toward their Washington State licensure requirements. I also offer individual and group consultation for practicing psychotherapists for ongoing clinical learning and support.

Practicing dynamic psychotherapy demands quite a lot from the therapist in terms of your capacity to engage in an emotionally authentic and intelligent manner with your patient in the here and now of the session. Our theory gives us a map that allows us some orientation in the often confusing and unclear terrain of the therapeutic encounter. Yet we must allow our theories and premeditated ideas to recede to the background of our minds in order to be with what is fresh and real for our patient and ourselves. Hanging out in uncertainty long enough for understanding to form from lived experience is a rigorous practice.  

Supervision/Consultation is a time to learn, reflect, and consider the evolving nature of your work with your clients/patients. I believe it is vital to our ongoing growth and competency as clinicians that we continually seek out professional and confidential support for our work.

My fee is $200.00 for Individual supervision/consultation and $80.00 for group consultation.  Adjusted fee is available.
